HintMint Red Carpet Launch Party



Hint Mint.com hosted a SMASHING RED CARPET LAUNCH PARTY EVENT on September 26th at the Hint Mint Gallery Space in Los Angeles, CA for their 2006 Limited Edition Artist Series, featuring Artist Gary Baseman.



The evening benefited A Window Between Worlds, a nonprofit organization dedicated to using art to help end domestic violence. It was also a birthday bash for artist Mr. Baseman himself!



There was live entertainment by The Good Listeners and incredibly gifted artists at work the entire night (see photo).

chicBuds Sponsors Daisy Rock!

Daisy Rock Guitars launched their exciting "Are You The Next Daisy Rock Artist?" contest, a new artist contest for 2006. Throughout July they invited female musicians in SoCal to compete to win a top-level Daisy Rock endorsement.

In addition to free guitars, publicity on the Daisy Rock website & MySpace page, and announcements to press contacts, they also gave the winning band a time slot at their "Pretty 'n Punk" Showcase September 12th.
chicBuds.com (division of ChicBlvd) was selected as a major sponsor of the event so each of the ladies in the winning band--The Sharp Ease (congrats btw!!!)-- received a pair of chicBuds (as well as a few special winners in the audience)!

Daisy Rock and ChicBlvd encourage women (and everyone, for that matter) to follow their dreams--and for many, that means a career pursing their musical gifts and talents.

Attention Dog Lovers!


Hi Chic Friends:

We're back! We haven't updated this blog in quite awhile...we've been super busy here at the Blvd. We recently moved into a new office in Irvine, CA and we're lovin' it. Now that we're getting settled, you'll be hearing from us more... and uh, we better hear from you too! :)


This last weekend we had a booth at the OCSPCA (The Society for the Prevention of Cruelty to Animals) Walk for the Animals. It's a charity dedicated to prevent cruelty to animals, to aid low-income pet owners, and to promote responsible pet ownership and the humane treatment of animals.

We had a blast! At the booth was Lara (of Nugget of Truth) who also owns a pet sitting company--Sunshine Pet Sitters. She loves animals and they equally love her! If you live in Orange County and plan to travel to Tahiti or Hawaii soon :), contact her!

Also at our booth was Corinne who designs the most adorable dog beds (Mimi, our ChicBlvd doggie--photo above--totally agrees!! Check out Corinne's site--simplyspoiled.org. She was recently featured on Good Day LA with Jillian Barberie. Every time a bed is sold a portion of the proceeds are donated to the Saint Martin’s Animal Foundation.
